About Intergrid

Heat and steam are used in almost every industry for various purposes in various temperatures. Today, most of this heat is still produced by burning fossil fuels, making industrial heat production one of the largest emission sources accounting for >30% of all European CO2 emissions.

At Intergrid, we are on a mission to make electrification and optimization of industrial energy use as easy and economical as possible.

From planning new investments to operating complex systems connected to the power markets - we want to be the one-stop-shop partner of choice with our three complementing solutions.

1. Project Insights: supporting strategic decision-making and identifying profitable investments with the help of our customized simulations
2. Execution Platform: Large network of selected partners combined with our curated menu of ready-made hardware concepts makes procuring and commissioning the right equipment from the right suppliers at the right price truly hassle-free.
3. Operations Flow: Our proprietary optimization engine, trained with unique system specific constraints, forecasts energy usage and power & grid balancing markets to come up with the optimal production plan for each MW, every 15-minutes of the year - minimizing energy costs and operator workload

In two years, we’ve grown exceptionally fast from three founders with an ambitious vision (and an office in Olli’s living room) to an amazing diverse team of >30 people from different nationalities and a wide range of satisfied customers across multiple industries. Today, more than 60 industrial sites already rely on our services – and the pace is only accelerating.

To accelerate our growth, we have also secured >10M€ in funding from top-tier US and Finnish investors such as True Ventures, Lifeline Ventures, Risto Siilasmaa, and the founders of Aiven. This allows us to continue expanding the team on all fronts with top talent passionate about tackling complex challenges and driven by curiosity and kindness.

We enjoy active collaboration and want to get to know our teammates beyond their Zoom profiles, so we would love to see you at our office located in Kalevankatu 30, Helsinki, as often as possible. Still, we all appreciate the possibility to work remotely from time to time.
