About the role
We are entering a new stage in scaling our business and impact in Europe, and are looking for a full-time Growth Manager to join our fast-growing team in Denmark!
This is a builder's role. You'll own full-cycle sales, from creating pipeline through cold outreach, to running discovery at customer sites, shaping solutions, negotiating with multiple stakeholders, and closing. There is no warm inbound funnel waiting for you, you’ll build it. And it works: historically, 80% of connected calls to ICP prospects have converted to first meetings. One week you're cold-calling your way into a new industrial segment. The next you're on-site at a greenhouse in Denmark, mapping their heat system with their energy manager. The week after, you're presenting a business case to a CEO and closing a six-figure deal. That's the actual job.
Beyond the sales role itself: Intergrid is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe, not just in industrial tech. You'll learn first-hand how a VC-backed high-growth company is built, working on a problem that actually matters: accelerating the energy transition and making industrial energy systems run autonomously.
You'll be our first dedicated Growth Manager in the country, working closely with our General Manager in Denmark and the rest of the cross-functional teams based in Helsinki, and have direct influence on how we expand across Denmark.
What you'll do
Drive your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and creative door-opening (~80% of your opportunities will come from your own effort).
Run full-cycle B2B sales from first contact to signed contract.
Act as a strategic advisor to customers on their investment decisions, helping them evaluate options and build a clear business case based on our analysis.
Meet customers face-to-face, site visits to factories, heating plants, and greenhouses.
Manage your territory independently with account strategy, pipeline management, travel planning.
Contribute to building the commercial playbook, what you learn becomes the foundation for the next wave of hires.
Collaborate with Analytics, CSM, and Product to turn customer insights into better solutions and sharper messaging.
Who we're looking for
Builder: You've built a pipeline from nothing before. You set the pace, hold yourself accountable, and have a track record of doing things better than expected. Not because you had to, but because you enjoy doing things well. People who've worked with you would say you raise the standard of the room.
Closer: Proven B2B sales track record, ideally from a tech scale-up or high-performing sales org. You navigate complex deals with multiple stakeholders and get them to signature, consistently above target.
Wired to move: Fast thinker, fast mover. You process quickly, decide without overthinking, and get a lot done.
Curious: You actually want to understand how a customer's site works, that's how you help them win, earn their trust, and find the real opportunity.
Travel-ready: You'd rather be in front of a customer than behind a screen.
Mission-driven: You care about accelerating the energy transition in the real world.
Bilingual: Fluent Danish and English.

2. In-depth interview + case (90 min)
Show your skills in a practical role-specific case assignment. We explore your approach, not just your pitch.
3. Meeting our founders (45 min)
Meet our founders and dive into our strategy, culture, and future plans. Ask all your toughest questions.
4. 'Work with us' afternoon (4 hours)
We invite you to work with the Intergrid team for a half day to ensure our ways of working align with your aspirations. It is a significant commitment on both sides; thus, we only move to this stage if we really want to work with you. It's designed to help both sides make the right decision — and to give you a transparent opportunity to decide on a new career chapter. You will receive compensation for this.
